What a Week!
Has it really only been a week since I last posted? It’s been a bit of a rough and tumble week. One of those weeks that each day you wake up and immediately think, “wow, Jesus has given me another day!” And that’s where you stay for the rest of the day. He has given me life and breath and doctors who know what they are doing, and I fully put my trust in the God who sees, hears, knows, and guides.
I have mentioned that my lab results a few months back, showed some really low iron and ferritin levels. Short version: this past Monday I received an Iron Infusion IV (pictured above, also looks like coke going in my veins, fun factπ), and it went very well and should be seeing a difference in energy and overall well-being within two weeks. With having Covid and then having this IV infusion, I believe my body is simply trying to “reboot/recharge.” So today, I share something that I have “pre-written” for days like these π
Thirty Five Random Fun Facts About Me: βΊοΈ

- I prefer yellow, green, or blue printing paper- I can’t stand to read off of white computer paper. When my brother and I were in school the suggestion of color notebook paper was given to my parents, due to learning disabilities. Well, you couldn’t find notebook paper like this in the 80s and 90s, so my Paw-Paw MADE it for us. Hours of work to get it just right, because it had to look just like notebook paper to be accepted by teachers!
- Born Entrepreneur? Yes. Both my brother and I. We asked for a real cash register one Christmas, and then another Christmas I asked for a copy machine. I started charging to make copies, sew buttons, wrap presents. I even got smart and set up a lemonade stand in my grandparents neighborhood that was mostly retirees and construction workers who knew my family and I since I was a baby… what can I say, I was working toward a small business!
- In 2010, at the age of 22 I opened Indeed! LLC, a traveling gift shop.

- I do LOVE photography! Capturing the moment, memories, you can never have too many! It’s strange really how no one really documents anymore.
- I also did the “book work” for in-home-childcare education, but did not take the test, because I stink at tests and I love the children I was keeping and I didn’t want to squash that love.

- Good sale on art supplies, toys, books… Count me in!
- I could EASILY spend all day watching birds and squirrels with kids! (Also Lucy’s favorite activity)

- I’ve survived one WHOLE year of blogging!!!! π
Well that’s all I have for today… I hope and pray to be back to my writing self next week!
